It's interesting that you mention pets! My co-workers recently were encouraging me to get a cat (they even signed a petition!). But I'm concerned about bringing an animal into a home with my second-hand smoke. It wouldn't be good for their small lungs, I'm sure, and I hear that they can also ingest the toxins when they clean themselves.
But then I thought: why am I so concerned about the health of this imaginary cat, when my own non-imaginary lungs are also at risk?
So now I'm planning to quit! I would like to be able to breathe better and, maybe, just maybe, be able to take good care of a cute little kitten. First things first though!
Wish me luck.
