Quitline clients are potentially up to 8 times more likely to be smoke-free after 6 months than those who try to quit or reduce on their own.
Our Quit Coaches will work one-on-one with you to create a plan to quit or reduce commercial tobacco use that works for you. It could be support with a plan to quit, managing cravings, quit medications, or help to find support programs and services in your community.
Quit Coaches are easy to connect with and non-judgmental. They support people who:
- Are thinking about quitting or reducing
- Are ready to quit or reduce
- Have already quit and want support to stay quit
- Want to support someone else quit or reduce
- Are service providers seeking resources and support for clients or patients
The Quit Coach can also schedule times that suit you to follow-up with you to chat about how your plan is going.

Our Talk Tobacco Quit Coach will work one-on-one with you to create a plan to quit or reduce smoking or vaping that works for you. The focus will be on you and what is relevant to you. It could be support with a plan to quit, managing cravings, quit medications, or help to find support programs and services in your community.

If you slip, you can start over again and again with a new quit date.
You can opt out of getting texts at any time by texting STOP to 123456.
If you opt out, you can sign up again at any time.
We will only use your mobile number to deliver text messages or provide technical support. We will not be able to link your mobile number to personally identifiable information like your name, physical address, or email address.

The Talk Tobacco Support Community is a safe and trusted place where you can connect with others to find and share your experiences with quitting or reducing commercial tobacco.
Although the community is hosted by Talk Tobacco Quit Coaches, it's your contributions that can make it a supportive place.
To make sure that the community is a helpful and positive experience for everyone, please follow these guidelines when posting:
- Your posts should be clear and relevant to quitting or reducing smoking or vaping
- Your posts should be respectful of the community and free of any profanity.
- For your safety, avoid posting personal information such as your phone number, email, personal address, or credit card details.
- Avoid posting the same question, answer or comment several times, and avoid asking others to rate your answers as helpful.
- Avoid posting links that direct people to other websites unless relevant to quitting or reducing commercial tobacco use.
- Posts that don't follow the Talk Tobacco Community guidelines, the Facebook Community Standards or the Facebook Terms may be removed, and you could be blocked from posting in the community.
